01/01/10 : Dead? Not really..
While it has been nearly 3 years since our last offical release, we stand steadfast in the ideals and motivations that drove us to begin our first netlabel 10 years ago and it's larger spin-off 'One' that began a few years later. Today's date seems better than no other to kick some dust off the page and post a little update. Thanks to the support of fellow musicians, artists and friends, we are proud of what we can call our catalogue and despite the inactivity regularly get praise in print, blogs, and email... and none of us can express how much that support still means. We consider ourselves extremely lucky.

We have been rethinking our structure and the underpinning motives. We've grown older, technology has advanced tremendously in even these short 3 years, the netlabel atomosphere has changed, and undeniably the reasonings for us to continue this project have evolved along with all of these advances and changes. By the end of this summer, we expect to relaunch One with a new site and a new release.. what else may come is still as much a suprise to us as it will be to any of you. A new decade is around the corner.

06/06/08 : Recue All the Wrong Places
Our good friend and a favorite musician of ours, Riku Annala (aka Recue), has released a new record with the label Rednectic. If you were into his first release here at One, make sure to show your support by picking this one up.. you won't disappointed. It's selling out quick, so if you want the CD version get over there soon. Click the title link to be directed to the albums page @ Rednectic. Listen to the popular One release Between Stations here, and check out a remix here. Oh,.. don't miss his awesome remix for if:then:goto either...one of my personal favorite One tracks.

01/30/08 : Farewell Kikapu
I learned the sad news recently that Kikapu is going into retirement. We've always had great ties and respect for Kikapu and wish Brad the best in everything he does. Many times over the last 4 years we have shared artistic rosters, recommendations to others, and a great mutual respect for one anothers choices in music. Kikapu like few other netlabels out there seemed to share a similar sensibility with us and if not for that alone.. we will miss them greatly.

06/08/07 : Machinefabriek - Stuip/Staar
A great addition to our drone and ambient series of releases comes via Machinefabriek (of Type/Lampse/etc). Enjoy! Also, we've got some special summer love for you : July is going to be a busy month - rather than the usual of 1-2 month waiting period.. we've got two more killer releases lined up from William Fields and Gast?n Ar?valo. Keep an eye out for them in the coming days.

06/08/07 : Relative Q - Small Craft Exercise Caution
Our 30th release comes from Relative Q. A welcome return to our first solo artist. This has been delayed many many times (apologies to Paul and those who knew it was on the burner) so with great relief we are happy to announce our latest release. Enjoy!

06/04/07 : A Sad Loss
Juan Antonio Arguelles Rius (Arguru) passed away last night. His kindness, humor and contributions to audio software will long be remembered. Our thoughts go out to his fiancee, family and friends for their loss. He will be missed.

04/10/07 : A Dozen ONES
One of archive.org's busiest reviewers and downloaders going by the name LAJ, has recently uploaded a nice mix compromised entirely of past and present One releases. Download and playlist here, or stream it here.

04/05/07 : Karl-Johan Nilsson - The Seams
Finally, a new release is up. This time we take a step out with another - another talented newcommer - sporting artwork and gallery by Adrian Leverkuhn.

Next in line for this month is a release from Relative Q (Paul Zyla), who happens to also be the first solo artist we released here 3 years ago. After that our new site will be launched accompied by the compilation, 201 - a 3 year follow up to the first release at One.

10/28/06 : Emil Klotzsch - Feinquisit
We return from an extended and much needed break with a second album from Emil Klotzsch. More of an EP than his previous (and well recieved) output at One and Autoplate, but no less impressive.
